It was a great stay and a good value. Going back and recommending it to everyone. It’s near the village and it’s peaceful and quiet. The cabin is just the right size for a family of three. However, we cannot let our child climb up the ladder because they are not designed for children. It’s complete with everything we need and the couch is comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a great choice for us around Whistler.
Stayed in the tent only camping. Directions to the parking area were confusing. There was no mention that it's down a (short) dirt road under the power lines.
Sites are small and packed together with little privacy. On top of that, the path lights are exceedingly and obnoxiously bright at night and bleed into all the campsites. I would either bring tarps or coverings.
I will say the facilities and campground areas were clean and well maintained. It was ok for one night, but nothing more than that.
This is one of our favorite camp sites. The size of the sites isn't huge but it's whistler fitting our 38' in at all is good enough. Enough space to camp and enjoy still and be 2 mins away from everywhere
Location is just ideal. Whistler village is few min drive away. You can even hike to Lost lake and reach Village on foot. Toilets and showers were clean. And staff very friendly. We will come back again. (Been there twice already)
This campground has a convenient location in the Whistler area and is generally well kept, but we had a very unpleasant experience here. We reserved a multi-use campsite for an RV and a tent, as the Riverside website states that multi-use sites can accommodate an RV and a tent.
When arriving the campground, we got assigned site J9. This is a multi-use site that CANNOT contain an RV and a tent because it it not level and debris covers approximately 1/4 of the campsite. When informing reception about this, with the request to be moved to another empty campsite, for example J5, there is ‘nothing they can do’ except for charging us the full amount for another, separate site where we can put a tent on (J14). When refusing to pay the full amount, the only message you get is ‘you have to pay now, my manager will call you tomorrow’.
During our stay, we noticed that site J5 has been vacant for the whole period and we would have been perfectly able to stay there with an RV and the tent, even though reception maintained that ‘’there were no other sites available’’ besides J14.
Furthermore, even though reception promised that management would get in touch the next day, we haven’t heard from anyone after they forced us to pay the full amount for the second campsite.
Very nice RV resort in a really quiet setting. We would definitely stay here again. Close enough to Whistler Village that it's a nice easy bike ride to get there. Disc golf and actual golf courses next door, lots of hiking/walking trails to the village as well. The paved valley bike/walking path goes right through the RV resort.
Had a great time. The site they gave us for our 29ft trailer was really small but we made it work. The facilities were nice and clean -loved that the showers were free (def more comfortable than the one in our trailer). Playground was nice, beach court was nice.
We had a great stay!! In the first few minutes we arrived a bear came walking by. The restroom is very clean and the camping isn't too crowded. Another fun thing when we ate outside the squirrels gave us a visit and stole some of our bread! Overall it was a super camping!
